Opinion Every prison should be self-funded by inmates. All inmates should contribute work to either sustain the prison functions, or supply goods or services where the compensation is used to pay for supplies and personnel at the prison. Inmates need to rehabilitate properly by working. Any who cannot work and have no chance of release, should be considered for execution. The tax-payers should not pay for inmates to be lazy and milk the system. Inmate should first pay some debt to victims and/or society, then have the chance to save money and purchase perks.
