Opinion Elected government representatives should only take direction from those they represent in a way that represents all of them, as uniformly as possible. Lobbyists that don't represent their constituents uniformly should be abolished, as well as corporate sponsors and special interests. Money, perks, or any other influence, taken from anyone other than those who elected them, should be considered bribes.
