Opinion Have you ever noticed that when an officer is shot, seemingly unlimited resources are spent to pursue the shooter, and the assailant is almost always killed. The effort put forth by law enforcement to find the suspect is substantially more than that of most other homicides. There seems to be a code among law enforcement to look after and retaliate against any police killings, whether justified or not. This is eerily similar to organized crimes.
